Technology Philosophy

The educational technology mission at Seffner Christian Academy is to facilitate interactive learning, enhance student engagement, equip students for responsible technology use, and prepare students for the digital culture of the 21st century from a Biblical worldview.

As a school, we desire to provide the best educational tools possible for our students while being sensitive to our families' needs. Educational technology is a valuable tool in the classroom which enhances and enriches the educational experience while training students to be responsible, Biblical, digital citizens. As part of this effort, Seffner Christian Academy implements the use of technology in the service of student learning through the following:

• Touch screen boards in preschool through 12th grade
• iPads utilized in every classroom
• Digital Textbooks
• A full PC computer lab
• Fully WI-FI enabled campus with restricted and filtered internet access
• Other resources utilized: Document Cameras, Apple TV, Osmo, and online digital resources
