  • Jean Days

    SCA Jean Day Dates
    Students may wear jeans and an SCA shirt for $2. Funds raised from the jean days will benefit SCA student groups (8th grade trip, senior class, junior class, & Jamaica mission team).
     Sept 29, Oct 6, Oct 27, Nov 10, Nov 17, Dec 1, Dec 8, Jan 12, & Feb 2

    Jean Day Dresscode:

    1. Loose fitting jeans with no holes, rips, tears, or stains (destroyed, low rise, or spandex jeans are not permissible). Jean shorts, capris, or crop pants are not permissible.
    2. SCA uniform shirts or official SCA T-shirts (in school colors: maroon, white, gray, or black) may be worn. There are to be no stains, rips, or tears. No other modifications may be made to the shirt.
    3. Casual or athletic shoes may be worn. No flip flops or sandals are permitted. Shoe colors must coordinate with school dress code.
    4. Shirts may be worn tucked in or out.
    Students wearing inappropriate clothing such as tight jeans or inappropriate shirts will be asked to call home for a change of clothes.

  • School Lightning Policies

     

    Lightning Policies for School Day

    *All calls will be made to alert teachers
     

    Lightning Warning (Lightning detected within 3 miles or less of campus)
    -  All students hold in place.

    No class changes, bathroom/office trips, etc.
    - All PE classes and outside activities must move inside of a building.
    -Car line will be held/stop until Lightning passes

    Lightning Watch (Lightning detected within 3-6 miles of campus)
    - Students may change classes as normal, restroom/office trips are permitted.

    - All student activities and PE classes outside must move inside of a building
    - Students may move from class to class but may not congregate outside.
    - Car line will proceed as usual with active loading and unloading. 

    All Clear (Lightning has moved further than 8 miles from campus)
    - Campus activities resume as normal

    These warnings and watches will typically last less than 20 minutes as the weather passes. We will communicate further if we foresee any watch or warning lasting prolonged periods of time.
