The best available Christian and secular textbooks are used. Supplementary computer software and hands-on learning reinforce textbook objectives.

The academic program is of high quality and will prepare students for collegiate study. In addition, the school recognizes its role in preparing students for entering a variety of post high school careers. Standardized test results verify a high level of learning is occurring.

The school student government, National Honor Society, yearbook, clubs, drama, choir and band are part of our extra-curricular activities. Participation in fine arts festivals, science fairs, spelling bees and music competitions is integrated into the student activities calendar.

What is the religious emphasis of the school?
As a Christian school, both the methods of instruction and the entire educational program are dependent upon and related to principles found in the Bible. Spiritual values are fostered through the regular teaching of the Bible, holding prayer in high regard, beginning the day with devotions and weekly chapel. SCA is a ministry of First Free Will Baptist Church. Seffner Christian Academy is deeply interested in seeing each child accept God's free gift of salvation and becoming a mature follower of Jesus Christ.

Parental involvement is encouraged in a variety of activities, including field trips, career days, festivals, chapel, school banquets and clubs.

Does the tuition cover the full cost of education at Seffner Christian Academy?
No, it does not. Each year the school calls upon its friends, families and alumni to contribute in some manner to the Annual fund, which allows for a balanced budget. It is imperative that every family make plans to participate in activities or fundraisers benefitting the Annual Fund in some manner.

SCA graduates can be found in Christian, state, and private colleges and universities nationwide. The college preparatory curriculum prepares the students for success at their chosen college or university.
